What does Planar actually do?
Planar is a single platform where you run your entire business. Sales, projects, invoicing, inventory, scheduling, customer communication—it's all here, connected and working together. Instead of switching between separate tools that don't talk to each other, you get one system where information flows naturally from one function to the next. When a quote becomes a job, then an invoice, then a payment, it happens in one place. Your team sees what they need, when they need it, without the friction of disconnected software.
How secure is my data?
Security is built into the product at every layer. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. We use role-based access controls, enforce multi-factor authentication options, and undergo regular penetration testing by independent security firms. Our infrastructure is hosted on reputable cloud providers with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. Customer data is logically isolated and backed up automatically with defined retention policies to prevent data loss.
Do you integrate with the tools my team already uses?
Yes. Planar connects to the software you rely on—accounting systems like Xero and QuickBooks, payment processors, email platforms, calendars, and more.
