"I know I'm undercharging."
You look at what your work produces for clients — the campaigns, the conversions, the coverage — and then you look at your invoice. The math doesn't add up. But raising your prices feels risky, so you don't.
"My pricing is all over the place."
You quote differently every time. Sometimes by gut, sometimes by desperation. There's no system behind it, which means there's no confidence in front of it — and clients can feel it.
"Clients always push back."
They say "that's a bit more than we expected" and suddenly you're offering a discount you didn't plan to give, on a job you already priced too low. They would have paid your original number if you'd just held the line.
"My clients won't pay those rates."
The rates you want to charge exist in the market. The question is whether the clients in front of you are the right ones to charge them to.
When I started out, nobody talked about money. What to charge, how to license, what brands actually budget. I had to figure it out on your own, through trial and error, over years.
The side effect is real: photographers enter commercial work without the business foundation they need, while brands (who do this every day) know exactly how the conversation works.
After working with over 100 brands and consistently netting over $100k from photography and video clients, I finally understood how it all fits together. I built this workshop because that shouldn't take a decade to figure out.
